I worked both as advisor to GentleForces founder, Danni Mohammed, and as creative director on the launch of H&M Move, and H&M’s multi-brand proposition. The Move campaign featured Jane Fonda and Beyoncé choreographer, JaQuel Knight.

Burberry
Working with Burberry on purpose
Through ACNE, I devised and creatively directed ‘Thread’, a campaign to communicate Burberry’s purpose - ‘Creativity Opens Spaces’ - in an emotive way to its global workforce. The super NDA’d campaign played out across film, print and events, and was presented by Marco Gobetti and Ricardo Tisci.

'How to Stop a Recurring Dream'
Helping Ed Morris realise his dream
Ed Morris’ debut feature, How to Stop a Recurring Dream was a labour of love for all. I contributed story and script development throughout. Starring Ruby Barker from ‘Bridgerton’ and featuring original music by Ibeyi, the film premiered on Apple TV+, garnered acclaim at many film festivals, and kicked off the BFI’s ‘Black Lens Festival’.

'Nureyev'
Shaping the story of a 20th century icon
I was creative EP on ‘Nureyev’, David & Jacqui Morris’ third feature, brokering a co-pro deal with Rattling Stick for original dance sequences by Russell Maliphant and advising on story. Released by Universal, it earned praise from Variety as “a documentary that nails the singularity of Nureyev’s dance genius,” and The Guardian as a “heartbreaking, tour de force.”

'Paris Loves Us'
Celebrating a Parisian social movement
I collaborated with Loren Denis & Antony Vibert on a celebratory film for the ‘Paris Loves Us’ social movement, in partnership with designer, Camille Tanoh. The film featured a stream-of-consciousness voiceover that reimagined my manifesto poem, ‘Piss off Perfect.’

'Saints of Somewhere'
Uncovering the turning points in amazing lives
I co-created SOS, a podcast series in which guests share their 'saints'—the people, ideas, moments and things that shaped their lives. Hosted by author and journalist Kirsty Robinson, the series featured guests including Ed O'Brien, Irvine Welsh, Susanna White, Clive Stafford Smith, Peter Tatchell, Sean Leane, and more. The Times described it as "The anti-authoritarian Desert Island Discs for Generation X."

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Elton John & Bernie Taupin’s songwriting partnership, they ran a music video competition called The Cut. I was creative collaborator/EP on the official ‘Bennie & the Jets’ video, working with directors Jack Whiteley & Laura Brownhill.

I wrote and directed ‘Lullaby’ for Mel B. She wanted to lose the ‘scary’ persona (whatever that was about!) and embrace the young mother she was to Phoenix Chi through the lens of memory.

In the stone age, I collaborated with Pippa Brooks across her various musical incarnations. We had no money, but we had fun. I wrote and directed ‘Miss Understood’, ‘Dead Popstars’, and‘Just a Kiss’, as well as taking a tonne of stills (like this one.)
